2012 Summer Theatre

Once upon a Mattress
DIRECTED BY AMY ZEMP
In this musical version of The Princess and the Pea, Princess Winnifred is an ungainly, brash girl competing for the hand of Prince Dauntless, whose domineering mother Queen Aggravain has declared he must marry a “true” princess before anyone else in the kingdom can marry. And if you thought you knew the story of “The Princess and The Pea,” you may be in for a surprise. Carried on a wave of wonderful songs, by turns hilarious and raucous, romantic and melodic, this spin on the familiar classic of royal courtship provides for some side-splitting shenanigans. Chances are you’ll never look at fairy tales quite the same way again.

Concert Pianist - July 19
Jason started piano lessons when he was in Kindergarten and enjoyed practicing for the first year. Throughout his school years he "mostly" disliked practicing. His piano skills are the result of a mother (Jean Johansen of Lethbridge, AB) who wouldn't let him quit. If it weren't for a mother who won "the piano war" with her son, Jason would have never started writing music.
Jason has performed and had the chance to share his musical talents with thousands of people around the world. His piano Hymn arrangements have been played in LDS chapels throughout the world as well as many other denominations. Each song has a story and his concerts provide the opportunity to share the personal stories and experiences behind each song. Don't miss this opportunity to hear great music, motivate your piano students and be touched by this talented musician!
Cam Cahoon & Kade Hogg - This is it! (This is the title of their show) July 12 & 16
Two of Cardston's most talented Tenors come together again to perform some of your favorite music!
