YES - WE WILL BE HAVING SUMMER CAMPS IN THE SUMMER OF 2024!
We will open for summer camp registrations on June 10, 2024. The cost of a week session of the camp is $129 - with no added GST. If you are wanting to register
your child, please complete the online registration form and e- transfer the fees for the camp to chtalberta@gmail.com.
If you would prefer to pay by credit card or cash - just call or stop by the theatre and we can take care of your payment.
Please note: YOUR REGISTRATION WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED COMPLETE UNTIL WE RECEIVE YOUR PAYMENT.

There is limited space in each session and we will close the link once our sessions are full.

If your child has a dramatic flare, likes to play “pretend,” or is interested in acting & singing or being in a theatrical production, this is a wonderful opportunity for them to express that creative and fun nature. Students will gain an appreciation for the theatrical experience while building skills in acting, movement and voice in a nurturing atmosphere that stresses creativity, self - confidence and teamwork.  The CHT is excited to offer children’s theatre camps in the summer of 2023 – taught by some of our summer theatre performers. Ages for the camp participants are 7 - 17 years of age.   Classes will run Monday through Friday from 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM. Camp Information that you may want to know once you register your child!

• The camp will run Monday - Friday from 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM.

• We ask that you drop your child off at the back door of the theatre when they arrive.  The pick up of your child will also be at the back door of the theatre.

• We will have a snack time each day during the camp.  Please provide a snack for your child to enjoy at snack time.  We also encourage your child to bring a water bottle to keep them hydrated - especially with another hot week ahead of us.

• Proper footwear is important in the camp. Sandals can be dangerous on the stage.  Please have your child wear a close toed shoe.

• We will be ordering your child a T- Shirt for their final performance on the final Friday of the camp.  If you would like input on their proper size, please contact us on the first day of the camp. Otherwise, we will order the size that we think fits best.

• We will be giving each child a complimentary ticket voucher on the first day of the camp that they can use to attend a CHT show.  If you need that voucher sooner so that you can make a family booking, please contact us at the box office at 403-653-1000 or 403-308-4655 and we can help you.

• The Friday performance on the final day of the camp will begin at 11:30 and your child will be free to leave with you at the end of the performance. Anyone can attend this performance and there will be no cost to attend.
